Project number: FW10010057

Project acronym: H2COTrack

From: 1. January 2024

To: 1. June 2026

The aim of the project is to develop, produce and market chemical gas sensors intended for the detection of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in two specific application areas related to Advanced and Safe Transportation and Green Technologies: a) sensors for the early detection of damage of Li-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and home photovoltaic systems; b) sensors for the detection of "green hydrogen" added to natural gas. The proposed technical solution is to use in the above mentioned application areas two types of chemical gas sensors: a) chemiresistors; b) SAW-type sensors. In both sensor types the zinc oxide nanostructures with possible decoration with metal nanoparticles will be used as sensitive layers.

This project Development of sensors for the detection of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in the energy and automotive industry is co-financed by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic as part of the TREND Program. This project is funded within the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
