Jiří Homola is one of the 10 most cited scientists in the Czech Republic. Congratulations!

In the ranking of the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists, published annually by Elsevier according to an analysis by Stanford University, Jiří Homola is among the 5,000 most cited scientists in the world this year and among the 10 most cited scientists working in the Czech Republic. The data are based on the Scopus database and include all scientific disciplines.

Prof. Jiří Homola, Ph.D., DSc. deals with research on optical biosensors. He is a member of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic and has received numerous awards for his research, e.g. the Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic for outstanding results in research and experimental development, the Czech Head Award, the Praemium Academiae of the CAS and the Roche Prize for Sensor Technology.
