Petr Kůrka scored at BioEM 2024
The Bioelectrodynamics research team has received a major award through its member. Petr Kůrka won first place in the Student Platform Award competition at the BioEM 2024 conference.

Petr Kůrka, a PhD student from the Bioelectrodynamics team, was awarded first place in the Student Platform Award competition at the world's leading conference on bioelectromagnetism, BioEM 2024, which was attended by nearly 40 student presentations. His presentation on "Efficient retrieval of sample permittivity from microwave passive device measurements over a wide frequency range" was awarded and accompanied by a financial prize. We congratulate Peter and wish him much success in his future work.  

IPE carries out fundamental and applied research in the scientific fields of photonics, optoelectronics and electronics. In these fields, IPE generates new knowledge and develops new technologies.
