On April 26-27, a working meeting of the NATO SET-294 research team "Advanced Mid-Infrared Laser Technology" was held, focused on researching component technology for infrared lasers, especially around a wavelength of 2 micrometers, such as thulium and holmium-doped optical fibers, Ho:YAG crystals and thin disks, nonlinear crystals, and other components, as well as components for the mid-infrared region (3-10 micrometers).
We combined the meeting with the SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics Symposium in Prague, and several members of the working team presented at the Workshop on Coherent Fiber Source Technology.
