Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Precise Frequency Laser Sources
The Institute of Photonics and Electronics v. v. i.* invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the field of precise frequency laser sources within the Fibre Lasers and Nonlinear Optics team.
Job description
The selected candidate will participate in research of precision transfer of frequency using the frequency combs, phase locking, light-atom interactions in hollow core fibres, fibre phase noise cancellation techniques and applications of ultrastable laser sources.
Requirements
- PhD degree (equivalent) in the field of fibre lasers.
- Experience with ultrastable laser sources and frequency combs.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
