The participants (mainly from European countries) introduced new research results in ultra weak photon emission from biological samples.

Researchers from IPE (specifically Michal Cifra, Michaela Nerudová, Kateřina Červinková) their results from the running project  "Photonic biosignals: measurement and characterization", which is solved together with colleagues from the Department of Biophysics, Faculty of Science, Palacky University in Olomouc. We have shown, for example, that different types of cell cultures emit optical radiation of different spectral composition, i.e. a different color, which can be prospectively used in biomedical diagnostics.

The foreign participants could visit our Bioelectrodynamics laboratories on the second day of the workshop and then the scientific discussions continued.
